1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Stripe AI (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at tobygleave@stripeai.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the App.
- Don't use the App to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Don't share your account or resell access without our written consent.
5. AI features
Caddie tips, green reads, and other AI-assisted outputs are provided for guidance only and may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for the shots you take and the decisions you make on the course.
6. In-app purchases & subscriptions
The App may offer one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions ("Paid Features"). Pricing and billing frequency are shown before you confirm purchase.
- Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your chosen payment method, until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
- App Store / Play Store purchases: When you buy through Apple's App Store or Google Play, those stores process the payment and manage your subscription. Cancel and view receipts in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions (Apple) or the Play Store app (Google).
- Price changes: We may change prices for new billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Taxes: Prices include applicable taxes where required by law; otherwise taxes are added at checkout.
- Free trials: Unless stated otherwise, free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
7. Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Our refund policy:
- Apple App Store purchases: Refunds are handled by Apple under their Media Services Terms. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to issue refunds directly for App Store transactions.
- Google Play purchases: Refunds are handled by Google under the Play refund policy. Request within Google Play or contact us if it is outside their window and we will assist where possible.
- Direct purchases (web): If you bought directly from us, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not consumed a substantial portion of the Paid Feature (for example, you have not used a single-event coaching credit). Refund requests submitted more than 48 hours after payment will not be eligible, except where required by law.
- Where required by law: Nothing in this section removes statutory refund rights you may have in your country, including any applicable cooling-off period for digital services.
- How to ask: Email tobygleave@stripeai.co.uk with your purchase receipt and reason. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
- Account deletion: Deleting your account does not automatically refund active subscriptions. Cancel through the relevant store first, then delete.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is scheduled for 30 days, during which you can sign back in to cancel it. After 30 days your data is permanently removed, subject to limited records we are legally required to retain (e.g. tax records of past purchases).
9. Intellectual property
The App, its branding, designs, and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g. your scorecards) and grant us a limited licence to host it so we can provide the service.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that distances, AI tips, green reads, or course data are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Use the App at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will provide reasonable notice and pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period where appropriate.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
